it still says 748r as thats what it originally started out as...........although if you are clever it does say testastretta along side it now........
How about 1048? Personally I'd just put some 748 stuck-ups on it and have done with it in the true style of a sleeper. But as above a little subtlety goes a long way
Nice work mate, get some pictures of it with no clothes on!! I'd just put OEM 748 decals on it, if it were mine of course.
Top work there! Loving the look, don't know about decals, it probably would look good with some, why not get some vinyl ones cut out, try them, then if you don't like, just take them off? you could always laquer them over when you are happy with the look? My 'sleeper' still has the oldest 750ss decals on the side panels. At a track day last year, some bloke I overtook (on a R6, HA!) said that he thought it was a 851! It must have been the square headlamp.
Haha, I don't think you'll be going anywhere discreetly on it.......no illicit liaisons on that m8....
Look....look...its the same one......its here again...... Honest it wasn't me....it must have been another just the same......erm nope....that aint gonna work is.....
Cheers. I wanted the later ones because I like them, but they do work better for wrapping all the new plumbing
That is something special, top work, having ridden a 1098 too, that will be sooooooomuch fun on the road!
Thanks for all yr kind words chaps... Still bits to do to make her how I eventually want...Wheels and frame paint, brake and suspension upgrades...The list is endless as we all know... Had a rummage about and found some stickers left from a previous stickering, thanks Anth... Ok, they don't match the silver tank decal, but I think they look alrighty... Also removed the fat french bloke from the front mudguard! Didn't like that! Best take her for a spin...
Ah right! Pardon the ignorance. From a purely aesthetic perspective, I prefer the ones with the rad ducts. Great project though, a bit like Chilli's 998/999 race bike mash-up that annoyed Ducati so much A
