I appreciate people on here will dislike the crash bungs but they were on it when I bought the R in 2013. It doesn't bother me as this machine simply makes me smile whether I'm riding it, cleaning it, tinkering with it or just looking at it. It's art. ❤

Same DMC advert on fleabay but why would you do an engine refresh and a full desmo service (whatever that is) after just 6250 miles ? Andy

Refresh in the terms of a race bike means a full stripdown. The 996RS used to eat valves. Andy

 

As you know, ive been speaking to them and it means full engine breakdown and rebuild.
Why on a motor of that age I don't get and they are not saying it was problem related.
Im speaking to them again today.
Price is firm . So far :unamused:
