The only numbered yoke standard 1098R bikes were for the US market of which some found their way here. Andy
With the price of new top of the range UJM superbikes comfortably over £20k, specials such as the SL etc at £50-80k, £32k for one of Ducati’s winningest homologation superbikes is a very fair price point. The 1098R is the last properly raw and un-neutered Vtwin superbike made. With the looks too. We will never see the likes of it again in this day and age of Euro4 anti-wheelie anti-fun pansies bollocks. And how many do you see for sale on the market? Supply and demand. Hold on to your Rs!
Who? The Bike Specialists? I'm not sure about them, but I do know the seller I bought mine from did!! Apparently the one in Sheffield is now sold ! I wonder for how much!
Well I have to say I'm truly flabbergasted. I've still got less than 8000 miles on mine but this isn't going to stop me riding it for as long as my body lets me. It's way too much fun . Andy
Just tucked mine up for winter, it will be playing out in Spring again Non fair weather riders Meh... I remember going to work in the snow on my Z1 turbo when I was 19, now I need +15 degrees thank you very much

I have an itch. The itch is for a set of CF wheels for my R model. Now I understand the original wheels are nice and light already so it is a bit of tart thing to buy but I will ask if any one has knows the actually difference in weight between the two ??
