  1. An ideal time to get that tank painted. PM me if you need any design ideas.

  2. Thanks, that's very kind of you :yum

  3. I have no real frame of reference, as my 'R' came with the BST's and I've never ridden it without them. I do have the originals, but it would be a waste of time weighing them as they have differing tyres fitted. Maybe BST or HPS can help.

  4. Look , will you stop posting pics of your R with that tank on please as it just makes me look even more at mine and realise what it could and should look like instead

    Its justa tease.

  5. Can you guys stop hyping these bikes FFS! I'm a very impressionable guy and now I've got some explaining to do: After a minor slip with the keyboard/VISA card/telephone, I've just placed a 5k deposit on one and now have to work out how to get it safely unseen into the barn with the others!

Here she is, and there's even a bin to keep you oddballs happy!
12,000kms and nothing like the 18/19/30k you guys pay. But still bang goes my D16 budget for the time being at least!

  7. Can you move the bike out of the way and get a bit closer so you get a better pic of the bin please? :)

  8. Good man , welcome to the club.
Have you ridden one before ? I was genuinely shocked at the power of mine when I rode it and that is after many many years of high end sports bikes.

I dont know how others feel but I feel a meet up next year from as many R models would be a great idea.

  9. Like the idea of a meet up....although these things are often as easy as herding cats.

  10. Never mind the bin, let's get a closer look at that scooter.

Are those standard or Ti zorsts? :bucktooth:

Oh and, welcome to the (not very) exclusive club. :grinning:

  12. Really a meet up is best at a Ducati Trackday I guess. Donny is central , some would ride the track whilst others like me can just watch and enjoy the meet up.

  13. It's in Walldorf. Not too long a drive from Geneva!

  14. I've no idea, I haven't seen it yet, that pic is from the dealers own page. I'll find out next week!

  15. I'm not sure where is central, I'm about 20" from Geneva if that helps?

  16. Thanks, I haven't ridden one at all, I haven't even seen this one yet. I'm always keen for trackdays, Italy being my closest option!

  17. How much was it? :)

  18. Donny is Donnington Park Race circuit, East Midlands, so central for UK guys! Maybe a bit far out for you though!!
Congratulations on the excellent purchase! Bet you're excited, have fun!
