I’ve been a busy boy ordering a load of parts from Moto Rapido, I should collect the frame/wheels later this week and then the rebuild will start!
The old clutch pressure plate had seen better days so I ordered a new one and new bolts. all torqued up with the cover back on and the new sticker!!!
Another box arrived this morning with a loads more bits and I collected the exhaust from being re-polished.
If the bike is at your house, I hope you have good security as you have shown your address on the M/R receipt.
Tell me about it!!! £700 of washers/bolts/nuts/clips etc etc. I’ve gone fully anal and replaces every rubber strap on the wiring loom, all the fairings bolts etc and a number of bits like the horn etc were missing.
Popped out and collected the frame/subframe and steering damper bits from paint today and the rebuild has started in earnest. Going through methodically and torquing everything up correctly, fingers crossed I should get the last few remaining bits I need and should be back together in a few days!
