Appreciate the offer, and I may well come and see it. But I haven't ridden in winter for about 30 years .
I don't think I ever had my last 2 bikes flat out in top. Supposedly a gearing change could have made 200 possible on the last one. Sort of lost interest in how fast they go now.
Mine was a track day toy when I bought it from the previous owner. Now that may put some people off, but the thing had a service file like nothing you've ever seen. They guy spent a fortune on it and it has some very expensive extras. All of the original parts and bodywork came bubble wrapped and when I returned it to road form, the thing is mint. Standard road bike or my bike with what it's had done and spent on it, but has seen track days? Well..........I know which one I bought and currently sits in my garage.
The Rutter TT 1098r bike sold for 10k direct from Riders. It then came back on the market and wouldn't sell at 15k for ages. I get the impression that owning a 1088R you also have to wear rose coloured specs. As it appears that all of them like to talk the price up, to protect their investments. Be warned it may also turn you into a cock. (Your results may vary)
