So getting back to the topic of the thread. I have a 2008 1098R with less than 8000 miles, documented service history by the supplying dealer, 2 owners although it is 1 of the 200 pre registered by Ducati UK. Collector's bike it is not although the condition is excellent but it was the previous owner's track bike as it was mine until my V4 arrived. All the original equipment is bubble wrapped in my loft and probably only seen about 4000 road miles. Sale would include all the OE kit, all the track kit plus a few spares like a new clutch and a new petrol tank. Happy to discuss off forum. Andy

That sounds like a remarkably similar history to my bike. Except mine lived in Jersey for 5 years and I don't have a V4 (well I do, but not one of them )
Ahhh, the joys of pricing bikes or perhaps more to the point which is discussing what bikes are worth . So I put mine up as a rubbish ad one evening , I think I popped it up for £18 k ish. I didn’t bother with pics and I didn’t really have a lot of interest so you can make of that price wise what you will. I don’t bother with huge big ads on bikes that are original and of a high value because a genuine buyer will contact and go from there. I think a keen buyer could get one, a good one , for maybe £16k.
