It would only work for me with the Termi exhaust, slipper and new belts fitted. Good luck with the sale anyway.
Cheers, but doubt I need luck, just a reasonable serious buyer who doesn’t mind paying a fair price for a fair bike, somebody will buy it if not this year next it matters not.
With 7000 miles and new belts in showroom condition.....thank you Paul for saying what I think, it’s a full 70mm system too, someone will buy the bike and be over the moon with it, certainly won’t lose any money going forward.
£1K for the system and £300 +- for the slipper. Mint condition and below average mileage, that bike would be a bargain.
Not sure as yet, he has been on holiday, no doubt we will chat soon though, but I’m not too fussed as I want John always to do work on my bikes, he has done plenty for me and always happy with pricing but more importantly I’m at ease that John has the bike.
Recieved more paperwork today, basically looks like for £25 new owner can transfer the warranty, started mid May runs for 3 months.
I’ll pay the £25 to transfer the warranty, the warranty is to the value of £1000 so not too bad gives a decent incentive
Funnily a guy with same name as you offered 7k on eBay, funnily I reduced by £100 a few minutes ago but it is slightly more money on eBay as wanted to sell on here to forum member cheaper. It’s going to be a nice coffee table if nothing else I guess, I am receiving the usual eBay promises off people but I knew that would happen and take no notice really....I’ll ring you tomorrow etc etc
The bid wasn't me, I feel your pain though. Sold my bike on Facebook a month ago, the guy paid in full, and decided not to turn up and collect it for over 2 weeks.
I have not tried Facebook, think ducati John is back tomorrow so might be able make a plan for belts, could just reduce it and supply new belts then whoever buys it can sort fitting, keeps it cheaper
I'm very tempted.. I've got an 2011 848 evo in pearl white, and I was looking at 1198 for a while, as I'm looking for a bit more power and torque, the only downside is that I love my bike too much.. I'll think about it because if I get it I'll have to sell mine It's a beautiful bike tho
I had two 848’s mega road bikes, I have not rode the 1198...how much are you after for yours? Can pm details if you like? P/x possible if that is something you were interested in? My preference is a sale but all options are open.
