Right, tried the battery disconnect and reconnect and also the connections under seat. No joy in afraid. I won't be screwing any more at it. Let the pro's sort it this week. Will post the results when I have them.
Now I'm not saying you're as dim as my mate, but once while washing he hit the kill button. Bitched all week about how shit the bike (900 Superlight) was not starting after a wash. I went round to help, put it in RUN and guess what? That's right, I had to promise to tell our mates a fuse had blown. LOL But I once missed a gear, over revved just as I ran onto reserve. With the bike going bleeeuuugh when I open the throttle I thought it was terminal. AA collected, took to dealer who turned the tap to reserve and sent me away rather embarrassed. So I'm no Mensa member. Hope you/the dealer can sort it quickly.
OK, so its all sorted thanks to be Jayzuz. 5 minute fix. Whilst I had taken off the battery terminals and refitted them, the problem was that the earthing terminal that connects to the engine (somewhere in there) was loose and was not properly earthing, so she would not engage to start. Simple tighten of the nut and its all good. No water issue after all - just coincidence on the washing front. Many thanks for advice, help and support on this. Picking her up again on Friday
Could be something relatively simple have you made sure you have a good earth, battery AREA WOULD BE MY GUESS. What ! Thank god ay mate .
