  1. I'm not known to waste cash

  2. I did ask the guy about why he had the suspension on, and he said that he planned to have the bike for a few years and do some track days, but after his mate had a bike accident and mangled his leg, his wife said no more because he has two young kids.

Anyone know if the suspension will be OK for mainly road use?

  3. Perfect, more adjustable and works better. You can always soften it off

  4. Aye, let's keep smiling
    ?....

  5. Doesn't the S come with electronically controlled Ohlins ??

  6. Buy a base or ex demo up grade it yourself then you have no doubts .

  7. So what's the real nagging doubt here, that the bike was taken out of its crate and immediately thrashed within an inch of its life and that it will just implode a a year or so?

You have to weigh up how likely that is. If it's done a few track days, so what? It is rather what the bike was designed for, scarcely likely to completely shag it.

  8. Would ou buy Kopes R given how he uses it, what has been fitted and how much time, effort and cost has gone in to it? I would :upyeah:

  9. Has anyone else got their bike tail like this?
I am trying to find out how bright the indicators would be on a sunny day, and whether a legal number plate would fit?

  10. I think these kind of indicators are dangerous, I would steer clear of the integrated sort, from a distance the vehicle behind will find it difficult to distinguish which way you are intending to go, it will just look like a blinking from the middle of the tail unit. I understand these indicators make the tail look more streamlined but there's a reason they are put on either side of the number plate and that is to stop you getting cut up.

  11. cf the crappy indicators they are putting on modern Audis. A strip of LEDs might look cool, but they are invisible when the car is braking. Guess what? Most people brake before they turn.

  12. I'm pretty sure they are not legal in the UK. Guy I know fitted some on a KTM and failed an MOT as a result. Prob ok in USA as some are used out there.

  13. The rear indicators have to be a certain distance apart to pass an MOT, hence why it would fail. Im not sure what the exact distance is though.
