  1. bless you my son..

  2. "You have the right to remain silent......."

Although I hope that this thread concludes, ita free country......

  3. Gents - MGA here - had to re-register account;

Bike is fine, dyno work went swimmingly well and power output exactly as MR had expected; fuelling and everything good and absolutely no issues with the bike whatsoever. MR have done an outstanding job. Just waiting for it to be shipped to UAE now.

When bike is received here in UAE it will be ridden on the track by me; it maybe ridden fast, it maybe ridden slow.... either way video and report will be given.

  5. What was the magic figure?

  6. Exactly as expected...he maybe mentioned what he expected but in 29+ pages I can't find it...:(

  7. The fact that its almost a Factory RS 2013/14 spec'd bike or similar, should give you a clue. If it was my bike, I wouldn't be giving out the exact spec's either. So respect Carl's privacy. As an SL has some 205 or so BHP when fitted with the Akro System, this should provide you all with some sort of idea as to what the revised engine could be putting out.

    Good Looking bike btw Carl.

  8. If he wanted privacy he should never have started the thread, we won't be happy till he gives us a figure c'mon.......:D

  9. Not a bad idea Jimmy. Perhaps we could have a 'let's all watch our bankstatements together' - sit in... :) could be a blast. :))

  10. Glad to see we're not going Dogville on Carl here ... While at Mugello, we had quit a bit of visitors in the box. The nice bit was that many of those visitors thanked us for being so relaxed and open about it. Much to our amazement we were told that in most countries, such garages would be closed and non accessible. Which sounds pritty stuck-up (and unimaginable) to me. But perhaps we could/should feel priveledged to be - virtually - allowed so close to such truly unique endeavours and allowed to join the fun.

And act accordingly. If Ron Dennis would take us for a private tour through his shop, i m sure we all would as well. Wich is where this comes closer to than we might think. :)

  11. only making the point kope its a lot of cash for 10bhp??? and lets face it there is no one on here who could use a STD S/L to full potential.,let alone want more , and probably most the expense you cant see, as its prob engine work, anyway we are all still waiting for bhp figures , cant see why so secretive ,

  12. Its not the power, its the weight and chassis. Check what the guy has had added. And a gnats over 150kgs? MGP power to weight ratio

  13. And its trick as f***

  14. I'd rather have a lighter bike than a more powerful one. 150 bhp and 150 kg would be awesome.

  15. Jimmy, its not a Hayabusa triple blower nitro dragbike project.. :)

why so secretive? well if it carries the F0 or RS figs, then sure we can understand that the people lending a hand at this in Corse will have made a point that no numbers should be put out. i"ve never seen any official statement from Honda, Yam, Kawa, Suz on the BHP their bikes make. And then dynoing and the numbers could be duscussed till kingdom come, all it would do is compare those numbers to mine, the MR BSB and Carls, And i am very sure that carls will not be wanting. So we can conclude the it will be 198 - 206 -ish... and as Brads says : on a 150 kg bike...For Carls sake : i truly hope that Steve has gotten the DTC/EBC/AW right... :) Which i am sure he will... :)

  16. yes kope I agree but don't see why so secretive from fo or rs you would think this could be a show case and perhaps bring more work their way, as above 150bhp/150 is prob close to a wss bike give or take a few kilo,s , good luck to MGA but its gotta be in your mind the first time you pull out the pits ,, I hope this goes ok ,

  17. This bike is c15kg under wsbk rules

  18. The lighter the bike, the more expensive it becomes. Less = more.!. :)
