There is a faint whiff of "handbags at dawn" creeping into this thread. Lovers of Monty Python would appreciate it I'm sure. As for if the SL is faster than anything else it comes up against I don't believe it really matters as I was never under the impression this project was a willy waving contest, merely an exercise in making an extremely good bike that much better and to the owners tastes. Isn't that what we all do to some extent, be it cosmetic or performance related?
Don't really see where the mystery is.......He's given loads of info on the bits & pieces changed /added, photos of the build (from circa 4,000 miles away) garage shots, track shots, close up porn shots & a video, give the man a break he's only had one tootle up the road & one track day.
chill, its a great build thread.. people, including myself, love this stuff.Gay abandon of money on a fantasy bike for most, let alone the rest of it! i enjoyed the other pan thread with the old fella falling off and al the headshaking of the pani around Spa..was just hoping for some of the same from this guy whilst i was stuck at home doing invoices, quotes and sharing my chicken sandwich with the dog.
