  1. Try Xbikes wisbech Chris can re-map and dyno most Ducatis

  2. I'd use MR. They're the safest bet and is tuned on a proper dyno.

The auto tune products that tune as you ride are never as good.

  3. My experience of the auto tune is not that great also. Never fitted one myself but have a mate with an aprilia who had it fitted. For a start it had to have a better wideband lambda fitted as the oem version wasn't up to the job and didn't supply enough info to map properly. When he eventually put it on a dyno it actually didn't fuel that well even then. He ditched it for a custom map eventually.

  4. Was it Rapidbike because all review of there stuff is fantastic.
Tuneboy also great, just really bad customer support if have problems.
Direct ecu mapping from right person would be ultimate, but what happens if have problem and warranty claim for engine or electronics problem because you can't remove it unless ya wanna go back to the ecu tuner and pay him to reset back to standard before you take your broken/faulty bike into ducati for warranty claim ??

  5. i am waiting for my tune boy to be loaded on my 1199S and the mapped by Chris at x bikes it should be well tricked up then blipper-quickshift-cruise termis sorted i hope !!:grinning:

  6. I've decided to down down the Custom Map route with Moto Rapido, thanks for the offer of the Evo, I'm sure you'll sell it on if you've not already ..

Can't wait to get the cans fitted, they've been sat in my wardrobe for a month!! :flushed:

  7. I actually ended up buying the Racing version from him and it's really good for the short(ish) runs I've had on it so far. Smooths out the lower rpm zone and stops it from bucking on constant throttle. Need to get some better weather for it to really be able to make any adjustments though I imagine.

It'll be cool to see a before and after dyno if you're doing that?

  8. Well Chris has put all the tune boy software on mine and seems like it runs smooth, dyno readings are around 185-190 with Termi end cans and sprint filter but he has said his Dyno is putting out about 5% low readings so good result i think he just waiting for some dry weather to test ride other than that the shifter- blipper and cruise works well on the dyno can't wait to pick her up and try a run or two:grinning:
