Depends what sort of lawyer she is. If a corporate lawyer, just buy it on the assumption that it's just small change for the family budget. If she's more the local solicitor sort of lawyer, you may have a problem. Lawyers are notoriously risk-adverse.
She was a lawyer for the Metropolitan Police Authority but she now does family law ! Most of her work are divorce cases ! She's actually okay, I'll try and sell it to her as an investment opportunity !
What dating agency do i need to get ones like you guys have? Earn lots of money and happy for you to spend it? You're HABs aren't you...
Surely you could by an R and then spunk another 20 or even 30k at it and build the same bike if not a better with change from the 60 you'd have to pay for the Superleggera or have i missed the mark. look at the absolute weapon kope999r built.
Was supposed to be 40lb (20kg) lighter and 220 at the crank. 20lb lighter and just over 200 (at the crank) is not the same concept. Massively want but I'm a smidge dissapointed - it's not quite what it could/should have been. However it looks stunning, the devil as always is in the detail and it's heart breakingly good looking and specified. Talking to Desmosedici owners they clearly never made 200 bhp out of the crate, and they were at least 40kg heavier than the bike they were supposed to ape (05/06 MotoGP bike) BUT unequivocally deliver on a different level - ownership/goodwill/rare/ Unique etc. On that basis the Superleggera, and that's a great name BTW at 500 units should replicate the success of the Desmo. Want.
If you are gonna buy an R and build a better bike how much do people think they would get the lightweight parts made for ?, from the pics if the air box/frame is a lightweight item who is gonna make you one of them ? That's one part out of loads I'd be amazed if you could build a better bike for less, you gotta define better first as well
Where does it say the price? I know some have said its 54k gbp. But on a few websites, its saying 48k eur, 60k usd. Unless i was in a coma an hour ago, i dont see how that equates to 54k gbp?
would rather get an R and spunk it as Kope did that get this tbh. But if you have the cash, fair play and fill yer boots
I think this is a beautiful bike, if you bought the R you'd never manage to get the same spec for the price. Who's going to make the magnesium frame and the tungsten components in the crankshaft ? If the weight/power figures are to be believed, this is one hell of a bike. The more I see it the more I realise how special it is.
So what does this mean for sbk , is this to lead to a better race bike , if not then it's just a more expensive form of transport , much the same as a rolls Royce , it'll get you there with a look what I turned up with , but if Ducati don't win races and a championship with it then it's all fur coat and no knickers.
