I have 1260 PP and I can tell you the suspension is superb but what shocked me most was when it went to Ducati for its first service I was loaned a 1260 with skyhook (new with only 350 miles on the clock), I was gob smacked at the difference, there and then I said to myself the PP is worth every penny more... Love mine, what an awesome machine, I have been very lucky to have owned many superb bikes in my time but the PP is one of the best !!!
Stop, just stop!! #torn ♂️ Was going to give my bank balance a rest, but seems like I may have to try a PP. Still going to give my new settings a good run out though.
I didnt like the DVT at all until I adjusted the front pre-load. Sooooo much better. Still not sports bike handling or feedback, but certainly livable. And I don't push as hard as I used to anyway, so it's good enough. Now you've found your way and seen how good it would it can be, it will be interesting on your feedback should you try a PP. Good Luck
In addition to the 1260 Pikes Peak Forged Machesini light wheels with less rotational mass, if you mount Supercorsas which are 2lbs lighter than the OEM tire, you'll have a track weapon.
