Ok .....so doesn't throw an error code in the DTC tab .....does the bike show an error ...? ...... I don't know what a bad MAP looks like on the Passive tests tab ..as Ive never got that test working on my 1200.....someone will be along soon with experience on GT1260 ..... I know about the 1200 .....however . I'd think if one is showing a varying value and the other is zero ....I'd suspect the zero one .... Could search on the melcodiag website ? On the 1200 the Horizontal MAP is easy to get to ......the vert means removing bodywork and tank panels ......this may not be so on the 1260 .... Hopefully someone will be along soon with relevent experience.
I do know from my experience that a map can fail with no errors .....on bike display and DTC tab on melcodiag ....
Thanks. I've changed the Horizontal one, this one is harder to change. Im waiting for good weather to make a ride and see what happens. I've also disconnected the Exhaust valve, this can also produce this problem.
