1994, 900ss Back On The Road After 10 Years

  1. Agree. I would try polishing in-situ before trying to split them. Same technique as for acrylic headlamp lenses.

  3. They seem to be ok for now. No weeping yet.

    But I’ll bear them in mind. I have other bikes too, assuming they seal with any forks?
     
  4. Yes. Calm your fears, new belts. It was top of the list didn’t want to go to all that effort to have a perished belt ruin my day
     
  5. Yeah these guys can refurb the chrome on all forks.

    @Jon Wright, it’s the faded needles that need repainting. They’re white instead of red/orange. So I’d need to gain access to them. The glass is clean and free from scratches. So I’m not too worried about that.
