I like that Steve , I too at this moment am strapped for cash , quite badly really, worst I've been for years. Give me by March and I should be fine, it's just the way my work (self employed ) has gone , what with materials to pay and draw a wage . I'm asset rich but cash poor , I've got my family and my man stuff to be getting on with and two weeks off , so I'm gonna enjoy myself . Just raise a glass to poor old PJ as I'm snapping twigs to keep the fire going.
:frown: Back to work on Sunday 23rd, last day 25th, 6am to 6pm. (4 Days on, 4 Days off), means I'm working New Years as well.
I've got just the one sleep until I wrap it up for Christmas (no pun intended, sorry!). It's now 1am and I'm just wishing the sleeping would start soon though! Is this what being sober is like ? It's shit, this will be the worse nights kip I've had in two months !!!
Don't mind missing the 4/4 shifts, as I was always in Christmas 6pm-6am. either through being on rota, or shift-swap for the 31st. Always at flat rate. None of this double bubble pay. Finish fri, then back on the 2nd.
Just another day here on the farm , no kids ( fuck that .................might have got one like me:smile: ) so we , and some similarly un afflicted friends are having a boom up day , ( who am I kidding .... its a weekly event ) and the theme is X service rifles , but that will probly change to a " whatever we have ammo left for " theme . We need about 500 empty beer cans before the day so I plan to start working on that tomorrow , and we will be shooting pretty much towards Australia so all you under arm bowling, kiwi stealing sons of bitches better keep your heads down:biggrin::biggrin:
