1200 2011 Multi Overheating...

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by Robbo75, Apr 5, 2018.

  1. Had same thing on my 2011...it was the thermostat, relatively inexpensive.

  2. I’m wondering if it’s a thermostat issue on my 911 that makes it run a little warm

  3. My 911 always ran very hot 996 model, but never had any issues. Although i had changed boot lid for a Gemballa one without a fan so that could have been why.

  4. A blatant thread hijack!
    PS.
This is a thread about Mutleys.... not an old mans car.

According to a new poll 97 percent of people are satisfied with their lives. The other 3 percent own a Porsche.

  5. I’ll check if it’s got the boot one.

  6. Thank God I got rid & bought the R35.

  7. Couldn't afford one of those. Got to be worth buying for launch control alone!

  8. Yes, you might be a little less tetchy now than the Porsche owners in the last Porsche thread o_O

    Were you being ironic?
..given the tr0ll that posted it?
I've tried to avoid the word Tr011 as the worst one uses it the most... but you already knew that.

  17. Any news.... update?

  18. Hey Aircon...literally have just had news. Haven't got the bike back yet but the word is (after thermostat replacement) bike is cooling down but only when under revs. Guessing this is now pointing to water pump issue? The plot thickens....
