Got a MOT booked at itila moto at 2pm on sat 25 march. Riding up from Warwickshire. Test riding a multistrada as well. Want to ride the great road from Lincoln-bardney-willy woods for old times sake. Anybody about for a coffee and ride out?
Good to hear your venturing back up to gods county What sort if time you talking? Planning on taking the multi that way whilst yours is getting serviced or looking to do the ride on yours? I'm home and could well be tempted if the wearer us favourable Ben.
As I've been mentioned a few times thought I'd better add a reply to the thread! For my sins I'm the DOCGB co-ordinator for the East Yorkshire Branch (in fact the only branch in Yorkshire at present). Although it is a DOCGB branch not being a member isn't a problem, anyone on a Ducati is welcome, in fact anyone is welcome with an interest in Ducati The dates posted earlier in the thread are correct as we meet every 3rd Wednesday or the month at The Goodmanham Arms, Goodmanham from 7 / 7:30pm. Also from April to October we meet at Squires on the 1st Wednesday @ 7pm. I communicate any meets, events, rideouts that I'm made aware of through our branch group email, if anyone wishes to be added to this please feel free to PM me and I will add you to our mailing list. Here's the poster for our event on Monday 29th May. It's 'pay on the gate' for motorcycles so there's no need to pre-book or mess around with tickets etc. Ducatis always form the largest group of non Buell/EBR bikes at this event and Ducati riders have given us outstanding support over the years.
Been to the festival for last few years. Well worth a visit, even if only to hear the Lancaster Bomber and realise your Ducati is very quiet Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Sounds like a plan Will have to see how the rest of the week pans out but its looking good so far this end... If all remains going to plan then I'll see you at Italia Moto about 2pm. If I don't happen to make it for any reason, it's nothing personal and down to last minute change of plan by the family lol... Hopefully see you there. Hi Ben/Fraggle, If you don't mind I'd like to join you on Saturday. Forecast looking good, so up for a ride-out. Was at Italia last weekend getting a service and borrowed the 959 for the morning. Took it down to Horncastle so did some of the roads you mention Fraggle. Very nice bike. Purrs through town, very easy to ride. Seemed lighter than the 899 and went well on the open road. Had a nice pair of Akrapovics on it which looked good. Different but similar to the 899, but didn't make me want to change, yet! Ben since you're close and could be passing on the way to Lincoln do you want to meet for the ride down? Let me know and we can arrange something. Cheers, Chris
No problem with anyone coming along mate. Meeting for the ride to lincoln sounds good to me too Chris Spent most of the day stripping the 1198 but should all be good to go for Saturday and hopefully family plans stay as they are too. I'll let you know how ive got on tomorrow night or friday and we'll see if we can get something arranged mate. Should be a good afternoon all being well

This is sounding like a great afternoon out. Just hope l can ride the multi. Bet it's going to be like a sofa compared to the 748. See everyone at itila moto, my eta is about 1:45 to get booked in for the test.
I'll be on either a 851 or Panigale. That depends if I get Friday off work to put one back together and taxed....
I did that last October, you'll get back on your 748 thinking how the hell did I ride this... It took me almost the whole ride home to get use to it again... On another note I wont be out (last night shift), well I could go to willywoods but I don't really want to be displaying a minor damaged bike either... Mines booked in the dealers on the Tuesday (cutting out issues when riding to a complete stop) and then already booked in at the paint shop... Then unsure to get rid or if I had the space keep it... Looking to get a Multi or Hyper
