Glad I saw this. Just bit the bullet and ordered one.Hopefully it will arrive before the summer is over but who knows at the moment. Give up waiting for a full system.
I ordered mine and it came exactly a week later... but that was just before the major shutdown took place. I am respectfully copying harryscfc as I think it looks ace so my pipes are going to get coated too
Yes,harrys look great but I don't really want to coat over the SC pipe. If only the rest of the system looked that good.
Just wonder if anyone has considered a skid plate for the 950? I'm kinda worried about the belly pan. 821/939 has plenty of choices but I haven't seen any on 950.
Installed Rizoma footpegs with an eccentric mount to move the pegs up and back by a 15-20mm, pegs have better grip and the new position seems to be comfortable. Few cons though: 1. They do not fold fully and the left peg is even pushing the gearshift rod when folded. 2. Reach to gear and brake lever is a concern (haven't tested properly yet). Does anyone know decent adjustable gear and brake levers? I've seen ducabike ones but they're ugly.

Anyone running the arrow or sc project decat with stock mufflers, curious if the bike was notably louder? Going to install the arrow this week and still waiting on my slip on. Speaking of, I am thinking sc project sc1-r, does that include a db killer? I see some people dremel one out, but curious if there is an extra db killer you can shove in for even less noise potentially?
Nothing on their site regarding any other db killers. I had some custom made for my 1299 through MHP exhausts. You could go that route. Send them the original db killers (dremel the welds off holding the screw in) and they’ll be able to make some that are quieter I’d imagine. http://www.mhpexhaust.co.uk/ Let me know if you do this as I run SC1-M with db killers with arrow decat and it’s insanely loud. I like it but worried it might not get on track.
Yep I am. The standard exhaust note was pretty disappointing when i got the bike. I changed to the arrow decat and now music from the exhaust is satisfyingly better/louder, without being anywhere near offensive. Made me think I don't need to change the stock cans - especially as they look pretty good anyway
Hi. Yes had no issue with them. Switched back to the supercorsa for the summer. Will likely switch to the scorpions again for the winter.
Just installed the Throttle Spacers and I believe it's the best mode you can get for the 950 Hyper It makes initial throttle application silk smooth, mo more mid corner kicks in the ass Totally worth 40 GBP overprice paid for it
I finally found a suitable skid plate for the Hypermotard 950 so I figure someone might need it. It’s the skid plate for the previous Hyperstrada models. Fits pretty spot on. Doesn’t take much ground clearance. It cuts the ground clearance about 1-1.5cm. You would need 2 long special screws P/N 77917711AA if the skid plate doesn’t include and a spacer about 3-4cm for the screw near the header.
It's a Bitubo XXF31. Yeah it's pretty good. The shock has way more configures than the Ohlins that comes with the SP version.
Does anyone know of a mod for the exhaust? I’ve just been on a fairly long ride and have removed the pillion foot pegs and noticed that the heel of my boot has been melting on to the side of the exhaust. Wondered if anyone else has had this problem or if anyone knows of a heel protector plate that’s available? Also does anyone know how many miles on average you get when the lights on? I’d love to know why they didn’t incorporate a fuel gauge or at least a miles remaining option on the dash
