40 Years Since Thatcher

Discussion in 'Lounge' started by richgilb, May 6, 2019.

  1. I didn't know that... oh hang on... didn't he claim he stayed there 11 times, when it fact he never did.
..... And it wasn't widely accepted he was a bad man at that point?
Further his lunches with the PM was part of his great work at Stoke Mandeville hospital, eventually securing £500K.
Fantastic hospital that deals with some very terribly crippled people. I put in the AC systems in there new Cafe (built with his money).
I admit I had to leave several times due emotional upset during the install. Listening teenagers (motorcycle accident) discussing they will never walk again and their new future with families.

Yes is was a terrible human being, but he also did great charity work.

  2. widely accepted by those in the know that proffered and worked to make sure you didn't know.

  3. Fin, do people (with Children or otherwise) really think that a bunch of back stabbers, sorry Politicians .... would cover up for a man that had a predilection for children?
I cannot imagine a world where people knew about him and did nothing.... honestly I cannot.

  6. Yep... Rumours....
And even the contentious sex pistols didn't bother to follow up....
It's really easy and clever to be so pious after the fact. Even for you Fin, thats low.

  7. You better believe it Finm, to use the words "yes" and "but" in the same paragraph about Saville's action tells it all, purely shameful, typical Tory.

  9. "Yes, but ..." is one of the great ways of saying "Don't care". We see lots of folks using that little device.
    Even some "very decent folk".

  10. Facts cannot be so without proof which there was none (testified in a court of law)
Sex Pistols we a group of misfits organised by a manager who wanted to cause widespread disruption, they weren't out to prove any particular point and as late teenagers they wouldn't be motivated by following up on claims against Saville.
Lydon always sounds pious, that's just him - good for disruption :upyeah:

  11. fvck all great about the context in which they were used previously, deffo for removal.

  12. John Lydon is a git and has always been a git. Because of his background and general objectionableness, no one would have paid any attention to his claims.

Hmmm ... reminds me of someone else, that does. Someone current. It'll come to me.

  13. OK. peanut, I'll mention that at my next Labour Party meeting. Glad you're on board!

  14. Google Jimmy Saville and Margaret Thatcher and go to images.

Then Google Ken Livinstone Kincora boys home Parliament. This was discussed in Parliament.

There are lots of others...there's a video from the 70s or 80s of a whip discussing how MPs would go to them if they had issues; "financial, or maybe an issue with young boys...and we'd help them out, and we'd build up brownie points to be used when we needed".

Thatcher is known to have protected paedo MP's. Paedophilia is a huge tool of leverage with all governments.

Where have you been for the last 40 years?
