Yes i know where yr coming from, but i really dont like using dealers only as a last resort, i will give a few a call tomorrow and see where it leads. John at Made In Italy is a sound guy, i sold my SP3 (851) through him.
Trust me just give bike specialist a call. The guy is sound. I went in just on off chsnce he had a 1199 and he spent ages showing me all his lovely stock when he knew there was no hope of me buying anything. I've never felt so cheap buying a £15k bike when everything else was double or more
d8mok Just had a look at his site, bloody hell he has nice stuff in there, will give him a call tomorrow for a chat.
I guess buying a 300 mile one is only good for a collector unless someone has the money to not worry about greater depreciation if ragging it on weekends and around Europe every year - but what makes it worth more than say a 3000 mile one with regular servicing. Maybe a little more but not much. The true collector value will only jump significantly if they are zero mile.
Hey, I must admit that model is probably a Marmite thing - and despite being a minority I actually prefer non-red Dukes :Muted: But that's a lot of Dollar - so without trying to steal your ad posting, I would be tempted to part with this silver machine for a third of that price Good luck with the sale mate.
