748 748r Light Refurb, Well, It Started That Way.....

  7. This is why riders prefer the bigger engine to start with as more grunt with the larger CC capacity.
     
  8. Yes, you are all correct, no substitute for cubes. While a bit more grunt would be great, I cannot ever see me going down that route on this bike. Although you should never say never obvs.
    I like the way that you have to work the bike to make it sing, it’s a big part of its character.
    Like a lot of us I am lucky. If I want to go fast I have the 765 and, if I want to go to jail there’s the Pani R.

  11. Wow that is quality. I am on page 4 I think, out of 18 of your 748 renovation, I never thought of having bolts re plated. I am getting my old 748 to go again, its in a sorry state to look at under the body work, so I am taking great interest in your post on here. If you dont mind I will pick your brains along the way.
