Brillo. Will have to do it this weekend, need to look at the water pump relay and protect that. I've got so many questions to ask about the bike!
If you need to know anything pm me. There are two relays, one fuel and one for the headlights. About a fiver each so its worth just replacing them to be honest. The fuel pump one can be a pain to get at the first time you do it.
When you do, stick it in the grease-filled finger of a rubber glove to protect. It's very susceptible to moisture and will leave you stranded if it corrodes.
I think its fairly safe to assume its not been crashed and rebuilt as no one would spray it that colour......
I thought all those ones were having a top coat of paint done under warranty. At least they have stopped letting bikes out of the factory with just primer :biggrin: well, except the streetfighter.
Not to start a new thread but the fuel pump relay, is it a generic one? Did a bit of a search but not much comes up. Probably want to buy a new one today as I've got the bike opened up. It's a proper bitch to get to.
