I TTonup I would agree with you weight wise but I find the weight disappears when you get up & running. Another point would be slightly lazy in the steering department but I find the wat around that just push the bars a bit sharper. It works for me.
ooooh foook,, that is not what I was wanting to hear,, I was hopin that a couple of bowls of Weetabix in the morning would man me up !!
well eat plenty for fruit & veg lol no they are just a bit heavy moving them about honest the weight goes once your on the move. Or maybe i should say ah man up lol
mate,, that type of thing hurts my eyes just looking at it,, that is a people carrier not a supersports !!
Hey duke yes i have moved a 1200rt & a gs as well & yes they are way to heavy Im not a fan of those kind of bikes just not for me particularly that boxer type engine I dont like the vibrations you get with them. I was at the launch of the new Kawasaki versys tonight looking at it the bike looks really heavy until you take it off the stand & then you find it is very light, also I think it looks like a good bike a capable all round bike.
I sure do !!,, actually I was a bit surprised and TBH a little disappointed at the weight,, but hey ho I am sure I will master it
had my first test sitting on my bike today,, after a while ( 10 / 15 mins ) my wrists were already feeling the strain and also can see a tendency to slide forward down onto the tank,, that was just sitting still with out the added forces of breaking etc ,, may try to make up some sort of knee support if needed,, anyway all feels good , will try out the seat adjustments next,,
you can get bar risers i have a set for my 749 but haven't fitted them as I am wanting to sell the bike. Check them out even if you were only rising them up slightly it will lift the strain off your shoulders & wrists.
