thing is you could get it 749R'd by an ohlins dealer (jhp did my 999r shock to 749r a while back) why not find out the cost of that which would include a service at the same time..........may be cheaper than the hit youll take plus the cost and hassle of finding another one....
im not too fussed, it popped up on me ebay reminder and i snapped it up at £200 and thought what a touch! the shock isnt in great shape and to convert it might be more hassel than its worth. im heading down to harris performance tomorrow anyway so will have a chat with them about it. but i can see myself telling the guy to stick back on ebay. im sure the showa shock will see me through for a while. had to keep this alittle low key from the missus as we are getting hitched in august so should be saving instead if another ohlins pops up at the right price then i might be tempted.
You don't want it, its absolute junk. Make you bike look and ride worse, would need alot of love. Not your woman the shock !
