  1. Avon Roadriders. :upyeah: Have them on my 400/4, avaliable in all the old sizes, superb dry grip!

    GORGEOUS bike...

  2. Great story. I was introduced to biking by a Ducati-riding orthopaedic surgeon! He had a black/gold 900ss bevel - stunning machine.
Rupert is a nice guy. I like his writing style. He tested and reviewed my 1000ss in Performance Bikes earlier this year.

  3. Cheers. The bike had Avons on originally, though I don't know which model.

  4. He did, didnt he Steve, I seem to remember a couple of minor points in that test that he failed to mention....Lol.......

  5. Hehehe! Now we don't talk about that! He did mention it in the article tbf. ;-)

  15. Thanks Rhino,
It is nice. It's been a long wait (was a tatty runner in 1980 when I got it).
Cost? The words "arm" and "leg" come to mind! Hehe.

  17. Today I have visited Made In Italy M/C of Stowmarket, and while I was there I took a look at the 750 Sport (photos in this thread). It is even more delectable in the flesh.

  18. Bl**dy hell....all you b*ggers keep going to Stowmarket and can't be a*sed to drop in and see me.........

    AL.

  19. Love to Al! Isnt Nog nearby too? Will let you know when next pilgrimage planned! ;-)

  20. Nog is in the Haverhill area, South-West of Bury St Edmunds; I'm in the Woodbridge area, East of Stowmarket....takes me about 20 - 25 mins to get to MadeInItaly.

Nog and I are about 45miles apart, say 80-90 minutes drive time.
