just got the tank cleaned ready for sealing,all looked good and solid (no holes) put the sealer in sloshing it about and I sprung a leak...give it a few prods with a screwdriver and quick repair,i managed not to damage the paint where it is visible...another job out the way.
Rotted in the exact same place mine had, mine wasn't quite that bad though. Any luck getting the old one back??
No unfortunately it was sold earlier this year...I will keep looking for it,is 448 taxed and ready now??
a bit of progress today,i got some 916 clutch parts today case primary gears clutch drum spacer and nut,there is some machining to do on the 750 center and the basket needs the circlip groove machining into it unless I can find a after market 750 dry basket.
There's a 91 750 on the bay for £3,995!!!!! Think I need to increase the valuation on my insurances??!!
well ive had a couple of days rest so ive started back on the ss,cleaning all the small bits an sorting some stainless nuts n bolts,there is a few parts needing zinc plating and a box full of bit to vapour blast,pics tomoro.
