  2. Yes mate I gen the generation before that one and that lack of torque pissed me off. I've only done like 45 miles on this one and I can assure you the problem is sorted.

  3. Yeah am seeing this. But christ sake 31st of July should be alright? If not I'm on a donny 4 days after. Back to the scene of the crime.

  4. Many thanks to @alexko for the heads up for Palmer performance, did some digging and the guys all over it, spent alot of time with Danny Buchan.
Just got a build quote through today and have ordered the parts in for the body kit.
I'll post below the numbers, very fair Imo.
I'll also post a picture of how the bike should look.
Only difference is my C-ons and R-sets will be Robby moto, stock exhaust (atm) and rubber will be SC's, and stock suspension (for now), plus Triumph engine pro casings.
We're currently figuring out what exhaust to go with but the kit does fit with the stock so it's not urgent, most probably thinking MHP cone.
He's also as you can see from the invoice going to sort the brakes out for me with HEL & get round the pain that is modern Triumph electronics.
Mateys got two other builds first then can start on mine but I'll get the bike to him as quick as I can.
Hope all's good in your respective hoods.
    Bondy

  7. Where are they based mate?

  8. I like the look of that much more than the limited edition Daytona 765, at that price it’s a complete no brainer

  10. He would certainly be the person to look after my bike if regular on track days...extremely precise with the work he does and knows quite a lot about bike geometry.
Marcus Hill cans are cheap(ish) and he is reasonably priced when it comes to repairs.

  11. I like a project n all but buying a naked to convert into a superbike does seem slot of effort, could you not just buy a triumph superbike to start With?? Or a gsxr or something??

  12. You can't buy a high volume build Triumph Sportsbike.
You can buy a moto 2 rep 765 daytona but they're 15 grand, a complete rip off for what they are and like most limited bikes designed to be left in your living room and taken out for a worrying 30 mile wobble before being returned to their cocoon for another year.
It's not really alot of effort mate it's fairings and some brackets.
The bike on its release has proved that popular its had its own race series formed.
The 765 engine & frame on track is never going to have you on the back wheel the whole time but it is a marvel, anyone that's ridden one will agree, it's riding one myself that made me want one.
Also although I recognise how great Gixers are, I don't want to spend my money on one so didn't.
The finished article, when built and delivered back to me would have costed around £11300 quid and it's brand new (-45 wasted miles on road).
£11300 for that, is very very cheap.

  15. Good project!
I also couldn't quite grasp the rationale. My mate was also looking at the 765 daytona, but as you say '15 grand' and he was looking at Gixers. I'll pass this to him...

  17. My pals 765 Daytona. Was built using the engine from an accident damaged 765RS in a Daytona 675R Chassis. Im yet to ride it, I've been told its an absolute weapon...

  19. There’s not many other options for a new bike that does this is there? MV F3 if you’ve got money to burn. R6?
