Can we assume that they are still turning a profit at those prices? that's one hell of a mark up at retail!
Mine is and comes up one of the best in the tests..............but be warned........ I reckon Bell are fundamentally car driver's / racer's helmets............not biker's helmets.
I dunno, call me old-fashioned but these seem a bit too good to be true. If the RRPs are to be believed then it's a good chance these are cheap knock-offs, and how protective would they be? Don't get me wrong, I'm all for cheap lids, but lids are something I'd rather see, feel and try for fit first hand before buying.
I'm sure that only bona fide ones would make the pages of Amazon. It's not eBay or GumTree is it But it'll be old stock being shifted to make way for new designs/stock. They'll have been "written off" in the accounts and therefore they can be sold at that heavy discounted price. HTH
taken the gamble and bought one, just hope it fits and sizing is comparable with aria otherwise it will be returned

helmet arrived today and its going back, seems bell heads are smaller than arai heads and its nbg, shame about that
Innit wot I said, Ken? Mine's tight........much tighter than my Arai or my AGVs.........and if you have a big nose, you could find it touching the visor, or your chin is very close to the chin bar........
