The seat is a lot better and I think maybe one of the best mods you can do to this bike. You don't slide about with it on. Don't think it helps the wrists much.
Cheers bettes, was think along the line it might help the wrists as it sits you up bit higher as a lot thicker padding were the seat meets the tank area. Its on my to get list.
Upper dash cover from Steve @Conquest Carbon, fitted no problem and new DP top fairing. Well happy with the fit as it's more precise that the original one. Just seems to line up perfectly which would never happen with the originals. Typically of DP, the lacquer's a bit thin but still looks ok.
Quite fancy the side panels next but painted in the same white. The 848 showing through in carbon and maybe a little stripe or something. Top and seat fairing mostly white as well. See how it goes... Not doing / spending anything else (major) till I get the new rear shock on and suspension sorted.
Still not fitted though. Waiting for the shock to get serviced then I'll get it on. Hopefully within the next month.
No, I only had the old type pushrod (without the T piece). They are interchangeable as the slave had the cut out for the T.
It's a little (3mm ish) steel bar and about 15mm long ish that fits through the pushrod, through a drilled hole, forming a T. (Ish)
And TBH reading through comments by others who have done this mod. If you don't remove the small bar, it forces the slave to one side of the casing and you get a small gap.
