Helibar tracstars added to compliment the speedymoto top clamp. Side stand de seamed and painted black and a few little stickers here and there to add a bit of colour.
Slash cut Termi's fitted onto existing 70mm system (cheers Richie Rich) , GI Pro gear indicator fitted , LED rear indicators, carbon fibre undertray , CNC QR sprocket carrier and cush drive fitted
Looks good Gary. Did they make a 1098 Corse SE or did you do it? Either way i like it. Is the hugger and swinger arm cover one piece? Not seen one like that.
Hi, no they didn't make a 1098 Corse SE but our friends in China will do anything you ask them to regarding fairings I had the white bottoms fitted but wasn't letting my carbon fibre belly pan go to waste. The lack of black and white stripe on the tank is a dead giveaway though Yep the hugger and swing arm protector is one piece , one of my better buys from Japan and excellent quality too
I have one of those too , same model , makes light work of rear nut and front sprocket nut ! I had to change over my socket as it was digging into the rear nut and getting jammed on
Not much to write home about, but i finally changed the oem clutch cover for an open set up - free upload The one i took off looked like a bowl of dust soup - free upload pictures
I had my Ducati Performance seat re-upholstered. The fabric was wearing pretty thin at the usual points, so I had a buddy work his magic. Black alcantara with the logo done in silver: Not quite as grippy as the old fabric, but certainly a lot better than the standard seat.
Exige's battery upgrade cable jobby fitted. Hadn't started the bike up for at least a couple of weeks but fired up straight away with the new cables. Tried it a second time once warmed a bit and still fires up quicker than it did when warm before. Added a few more bits while at it.
I bought these 25mm adjustable risers from mc motorcycle parts in Hong kong. They were super cheap compared to other brands but are pretty good looking. The rise makes such a difference to the wrist ache. Has anyone else bought these? Only thing I'd say is when I push the bike by the bars, sometimes they move an edge. Not noticeable when riding and feel I've tightend them as much as I can without going crazy. Get what you pay for perhaps....
Must admit that would concern me, if they budge when you push it what would happen from a higher speed emergency....just sayin'
I find that my standard bars catch my hands on the edge of the fairing at full lock, 25mm higher would be difficult.
mc-motoparts.com Yea they still catch, I was worried theyd be make that worse, but to be honest not noticeable so far. I can still do a 3 point turn in a small road.
@Exige will be along very shorty to inform you about this fantastic upgrade. His cables are nearly twice as thick, more flexible and better sealed so hopefully once fitted, job jobbed! . No modifications needed to the battery T piece or box itself which is always a good thing. Ian
Might be worth changing the bars over. Left to right. A lot of people have done this in order to get more height and different angle.
