I think all these electronic aids can be of benefit as backup to riders who already know what they're doing, as for example, in comesunt's highside situation; but they are becoming standard features on lower and lower powered bikes, (probably because fitting such systems is a simple, inexpensive way to "build in" value and increase the purchase price on all machines) and they risk creating a generation of riders who never learn throttle control for themselves and are dependent on such devises. However clever and useful the technology it can't replace a properly triangulated brain, throttle-hand and backside and riders should learn to connect with the bike for themselves before they switch on their box of tricks.
