some nice weaponry on display gentleman..oldies but goodies, from the days when dukes looked like italian throughbreds and less like japanese hyperbikes
Hugger now sorted, brand new one on ebay for £12 .. well happy Getting closer by the day Modified the SL corbin seat to fit. Just waiting now for s/h parts to arrive from holland and belts from Chris at cycle works. I did have a 916 rad fitted but a ST4 one will fit better so i;m looking for either a st2, st4 or a monster s4 rad or even a 888 curved radiator (not much chance) My spaniel in the pic is sulking, i gave him a bath today and he hates it!
Hi Imola, Jmmy here (used to be Jimmy996 on Ducatisti) bike looking good! like most seasoned Ducati nuts the 851/888 gets you in the end.... here is my mid life crisis...
I'm more nostalgic about my 851 that any other bike I have owned. I think I had more fun on it. It was a whole era. I did have, for a short while, the cutting edge Ducati superbike at a time when they were really far and few between. It was the business.
I agree, I also love my Superlight too.. both lovely machines, I have ridden the new stuff & like it but I keep going back to the old ones
