I get that a lot! every 851/888 owner regrets selling (and ex Superlight owners), I have found my sweet spot of Ducati, it is the Cagiva era for me.. I shall not be moved
Looking good Imola keep the pics coming! Some lovely looking bikes here . Shame there not as quick as a Superlight
Few more bits arrived over the last couple of days. Hugger, sprockets, exhaust hangers, spindle adjusters and front brake banjo/switch and cambelt adjusters/pulleys.
Did a bit today but not much time as on call with work! New (Steve B Thanks mate) Can hangers and adjuster plates. Also fitted seat and bolted up, the seat unit is now ready for paint, also fitted new banjo/switch to front master cyl. I'm waiting now for the rare bits i found and hopefully Rudy has posted them and on the way to me.

LOL .. Hi mate, That block of wood has been doing a superb job holding the arse end up while awaiting a shock.
Ha Ha  Cleaned the shock up tonight, Light is nigh on brand new, front fairing is mint, undertray has the mudguard hacked off which most do anyway! They all were had for a very good price from Rudy at DUCAPARTS in holland. If anyone needs rare 851/888 parts give him a email [email protected]
I'm waiting for Rudy to find me the rubber air ducts which sit in the front fairing. So all i now need is ............ fairing lowers 520 xring chain red paint rear sets battery tyres new number plate turn lights rear (found some front fairing ones) a pair of decent not so wrist busting 50mm clip ons Screen Decals (on order) Think thats it! I'm keeping in budget so far and with what i have spent i have a VERY CHEAP 851
Steve B, What do you think Grandad will say when he see's silver on gold decals on a white frame 851/888 ? Steve K PS Tell him it was good enough on the 888 customer bikes in 1993 in WSB
he will grumble and moan I will say you need photographic proof to shut the old chap up: Steve B too busy to pop by yesterday?
