  5. More good news!

My contact in holland Rudy has found me the rubber air ducts, 888 sp3 fairing lowers, battery box and all fairing mount brackets also a 888/851 front subframe as the one i have is the wrong one.
Fairings need a tidy and paint, but now i have everything to complete

    Painted seat unit!
A couple of runs in the clear coat to sand out then polish.
I tested the gold pin stripe with a coat of clear and it started to pickle.. Shite said you could clearcoat over on the description!
Will add the decals and pin strip etc when clear has hardened.

  12. What Lacquer are you using Imola?, happy to 2k clear any bits you have next time your passing matey, need to go on light with the first coat on decals and let it flash off or it will pickle fella, I have just cleared over a decal from imageworks on my numberboard and it was all good....

  14. ** The August edition of Classic Motorcycle Mechanics has got an 851 section in it this month

  15. you will find it will pickle with 1k mate, it does react with certain things, if you use 2k in a well ventilated area (5 metres is the recommended HSE exclusion zone for localised vehicle repairs outside) that will be fine (with a suitable mask naturally)

  19. Temperature is key, too hot & it will cause texture, too cold & it will run, 21c is optimal mate
