  1. Wonder how much stick I'd get for painting my gixer those colours and style...

  2. is it a 600 to look like a 1200?

  3. I do but they are still on my phone and im currently packing as im off on holiday tomorrow so I will post them when I come back. I have previously bought carbon products for my GSXR made by Tyga and they were good too, but I would say the Conquest stuff is equally good if not better.

  4. Stunning paint and wheels- very nice indeed!

  5. Been a while since i updated,600 mile service done, and a few bits added over the last few months,dp tinted screen,dp footpegs, lightec leavers and filler cap and gbracing clutch cover, just waiting on the Ohlins ttx to arrive and that will be it for this year.

  13. Very very nice mate. I was thinking of doing my 1199 in those colours but was thinking of using a sticker kit so I could put to standard for sale time. I wasn't so sure after seeing a SL at the dealers as they are orange but yours looks ace

  14. Is this the standard Ducati Red, wasn't sure if it was the Superlegerra 'Red', sometimes you cannot tell from pictures.

    Looks beautiful. Want one !!

  15. Agree, stunning. I hope Ducati see this thread. We need a production 899 like this - the LED lights etc from the 1199, etc, etc, etc, but with 899 power for the road.

Simmytt, we're told the 1199's single-sided swing arm is compatible with the 899 - would you consider switching that? It would look amazing with those wheels and paint job, and complete the mini-Superleggerra look.

  16. The bike is standard red,the tank and top fairing have not been painted.Tbh the SL's paint work is a pikes peak rep, when i parked the 899 next to the pp the resemblance was spooky.Obviously the 899 has been built to a budget the main downsides are the lights they are worse than useless but the 1199 leds are a straight swap, this is something i will be doing in the future,i actually love the dss i think it distinguishes the 899 from the 1199,the standard rear shock was appalling for my heavy frame and Ducati offer no other spring option so revalving the standard shock was a waste of time, went out today and covered 180 miles the ttx is silky smooth and absorbs all but the biggest bumps and holds its line perfectly,899 owners put this at the top of your to do list.

  17. No idea why it keeps duplicating the pics ? on a side note if anyone wants to buy my standard shock to send off to revalve its yours for £100 or the standard exhaust £100 or a brand new standard chain £20,rear pillion seat £30.

  18. Nice pics simmytt. Any idea of price for the led lights ?

  19. Would not like to buy them new, second hand they fetch around £300,i have a spare light unit for the 899 so i may look at getting it converted.my neighbour just had a local company convert his range rover lights to led so i might give them a ring, dont need to worry to much about it now with the light nights.
