  1. Yea
I've always ran them like that, same with the mv, the front are Brill, and the touring rear are as sticky as anything, and last ages.

  3. Heres some roads, places and Hotels i stayed at that are well worth checking out:
Started in Spain : N240 -N260 great road, then stayed at Hotel Pena Montanesa, in Ainsa - Labuerda(£63 for B&B and evening meal) on the A-138(great road) right in Pyrenees
France: Verdon Gorge (amazing scenery and roads) do the N85 Route napoleon from Nice
Switzerland: Furka pass, Grimsell pass( both face each other) loads of hotels on route, and cheap, i can give you a hotel on the furka, Fluela pass, takes you towards Stevio pass, Umbrail pass( Umbrail better than stelvio and continuation from top of stelvio towards switz)
Italy: Dolomites.. Stelvio, also look up Lago Gioverretto Zufrittsee ( its near a town i stayed at called caldrano) a great road to a spectaular lake surrounded by mountains.
Austria: i stayed at a village called malta and hotel run by Brit couple : Gastof Hochalmspitze, cheap and brill, they will fill your sat nav with all the best routes, including: Nocalmstrasse( best road in the world), Grossglockner, Villaher strasse, B99 and tons more, plus the Triglavski national park, Slovenia(incredible roads and scenery)
Germany: Black forest B500, quite popular now, watch for speed traps and unmarked bike cop that follows you, i was ok but heard of others unfortunate, Pension Williams is a great hotel just off 500 £27 per night B&B run by british couple, again he can load up your sat nav with all the best roads.
Luxembourg: Stayed at a biker run hotel in Esch-sur-Sure called 'Gourmet et Relax Hotel de la sure' good price and have a garage for bikes, have a menu an inch thick!! didnt get alot of time to play on the roads, but imagine the black forest but empty with no cops...cracking well surfaced roads.
Belgium, didnt see much of it as was heading home but Bruges is a good stop off point.

    Fuel wise:

    Italy most expensive
Austria, Spain, Lux, Germany, Slov. really cheap
    France quite cheap too.
