  2. looks promising Pablo, appreciate it's still evolving but had you considered old school twin shock application a la bevel?
those f2 tanks are lovely : Ducati Fuel Tanks | Accessories

  3. That site is amazing, beautiful bikes and chassis kits, love the f2 exhaust system. RCV are you going to retail those f2 style tanks? Reckon there would be a market for them

  4. yes I will be making a few extras time permitting,i have orders for 2 and one for my self of course, will be doing some f2 style exhausts and a few other bits aswell.

  5. you're welcome. Regret I couldn't afford the build costs, (my sincerest apologies to PP) not wishing to hijack his thread, but saw this at North Weald in the summer, so pretty and went very well too.

Similar challenges - welding to cast, wheelbase, shock mounting, fork stem manufacture, and the list goes on.... should this be moved to 'Acquisitive Fools Finding New Ways to Spend Cash on Flights of Fancy?

Love the look of that nascent tank, RCV4!! Price details, as and when, please.

Pablo, keep going, looking good! Mine's still going through re-thinks. The swingarm is going back to standard for now, just to have it rolling while the welder decides what's possible as far as shortening it and mounting the shock in its original position goes. I can hear the notes are whistling from my bank account to his as I write!

ps Does anyone have the rear light unit & indicators from 749/999/Multistrada lying around that they would sell? PM please. Thanks

  7. Been a while but may keep the standard tank (Due to cost and time and no reply from other tank builders, did think of the RedMax tank????) so then had a complete change, did want a Duke rep of the Norton as it's a stunning bike but don't think the budget will stretch.....to make a decent job of it.

Did however offer up a Monster seat to see how it looks, to be fair it looks better in the flesh than the pics. Need to get up to BBB Fab's to see what can be achieved.

Also looking at a set of Boom Tubes to keep the bike minimal and clean, not to everyones taste but in my mind could work out.

  8. BBB Fabs mucking about with seat to go with my Supermono tail unit (covered in polythene) on chopped SS frame - some people make it look easy...

I really like the monster unit on yours though..
