  1. Thanks, yes low-head is the correct technical term! Got mine from Speedy Fasteners. They also stock spacer collars for the bolts that prevent over-tightening and potentially splitting the fairing.

  2. As far as I am aware they should be.

  3. don't know about technical but best use the same language as the masses obviously, we called them 'reduced height' years ago so probably too many words.

  4. Apart from OEM bolts has anyone come across steel bolts zinc plate yellow passivate which is what I believe most originals are. I have searched ebay and the net without much success. There are plenty of zinc plate clear which leaves them looking silver but I want the original look (I know). There are local platers but but wondered about de-embrittlement second time around and re using bolt on important areas such as discs and breaks.

    Cheers Gaz

  5. or you could put standard cap screws in a lathe and turn them down to the required height

  6. Not sure if you found a source of these... Ducati John can get them plated with the yellow passivate. I havnt decided what to do myself yet. Probably buying new and getting some re-plated.

  7. I have done this with success. Or they are also called CHEESEHEAD bolts
