Poke it in and slide the outer back then cut one end off, fit new bolt once you've got it apart then weld end back up. I'm assuming they are made like M900 cans
inside my cans were plates with a thread in for the bolts held in place with a rivet are the cans all welded up or are the ends riveted on
Thanks, guys. No, these must be different to the Monster cans (though I can't see why; my Termis are labelled 'Monster', so the fit must be the same...). I can't push the sawn off end in at all, and what's under the skin can't be a plate, 'cos it turns freely. (the plate would be a better solution) I can see that if I could cut/grind the bolt to below the level of the can then I could drill out the rivets on the end (yes - rivetted) and slide the skin off, etc. I'll scratch my head about it some more....
