911 Turbo

Discussion in 'Lounge' started by yev, Aug 23, 2019.

  1. Totally agree. It’s a very capable, fast , mile muncher. But it’s bland. I tried to love mine but it just didn’t happen. Bloody expensive to run too. Speeding tickets didn’t help though.

  2. 911 turbo bland??

Give yer head a shake. Bland definitely does not spring to mind when I take mine for a thrash

  3. That's just it, they don't come alive until you're thrashing them IMO. Then they're bike fast, you can get away with a lot more on a bike though...

  5. I only have a standard c2 tip and tbh I haven’t thrash it at all yet. But enjoy just driving along with the 6 humming and burbling behind me.

Nice spec, but they're getting a bit big, and fussy around the rear...no-one likes a fussy rear.

  10. I would quite like a 997 turbo, but it would only be a weekend car. And
And when the feds or a dashcam warrior record you doing that, you'd better stock up with soap on a rope.

  11. I do sometimes fancy a 997 turbo, and apparently they're a step on from the 996. But I can't really justify £40-50k for a weekend car.
