That's the correct scheme for a '98. Up to '97 they had the 'Desmoquattro' fairing decals & Ducati on the tank/nose etc., '99 saw the intro of the 996 so only the '98 916 looks like that. I prefer the stealthier look of the '98, never been one for stickers etc. Mine looked the same originally although it looks a tad different now;
I think it maybe from the ST 2/3/4 range my 996 has the same shape in carbon but someone painted it red.
Cyclecat - can be raised, turned and angle is adjustable via an eccentric but the best thing is that the bars are longer.
Cheers. Did you buy them direct from Cyclecat in the States? I've looked at those and the Ducabike versions.
I got them from Spareshack who was In Jersey and sold Cyclecat stuff but it was many years ago and they're not in business anymore. Cyclecat closed down a year or so ago but I think they're back in business now but I have heard of problems getting stuff from them...
