And....make sure the breather valve is the right way around..............little arrow points to the front of the bike and away from the tank.
Breather is right way round, I think the por 15 may have partially blocked it! As regards the forks, they are awesome. Firm so you can feel everything thrs happening on the road yet soak up the bumps well too. Very very happy with suspension upgrades. The front and rear are pretty much matched. I can highly recommend Maxton.
Inside there is a small spring and a floating disc which IIRC is something like cork..........You should be able to blow through it easily againt the direction of the arrow, but not the other way.........when blowing in the direction of the arrow it needs about 4 to 5 psi at least to let the pressure out of the tank..... Sometimes you can separate the components by forcing it apart where the line/groove runs around the valve......don't get them muddled up if it comes apart........if you do get it apart, supaglue on the joint should run in and keep the two halves together. If you have got tank sealer in it, then it could well be screwed. A new one is over £50.
Well I sorted it. I used Por 15 in the tank and the tiny hole inside the tank underneath the breather on the left hand side was blocked by it. Filler out and using a pick tool, reached in and opened it again. Air now flows and its sorted!
