there are 2 designs for the left side, 3 hole and 2 hole panels. The 3 hole has a bigger front air intake. Ducati have fit the 1299 with both the 3 hole, and the 2 hole version. Both fit perfect, as they do on the 959.

Just tried taking a couple more shots, there is x 2 around 1mm round so hard to get a good shot of these.
