Yeah, that's my confusion too... I mean, it's locked (gate with electronic keys, with no access to the public), but it's not properly a building strictly speaking... That's why I assumed that locked compound could make sense. Open to suggestions!!
When I spoke of "member recommendations" I was talking about companies to contact and not necessarily about insurance in London. Unfortunately London is a shit hole that is inhabited by thieves and ne'er-do-wells and people who earn at least 100 times the national average and therefore can afford exorbitant insurance rates, without blinking
How old are you mate? If over 30 try BeMoto insurance. They tend to show a realistic take on insurance. I feel for you mate and I hope you get it sorted!
I'm 32, and I have been riding a Ninja 600 for 3 years when I was living in Italy (until 5 years ago), not that any insurance company seems to care though
Try BeMoto They're a good bunch. Might have some luck and for the sake of a phone call what have you got to loose
Nothing at all I just searched in my mailbox, I sent them an email, but no reply. Might be worht calling then...
if you have an allocated parking bay, can you get permission to have one of those secure bike specific metal sheds installed with the slide out/ securing system? See Secure-a-Bike Surely that would put insurance company at ease.
That's a good shout. There's a "shared" parking bay for motorbikes (we need to get a parking permit for it), I might check if I'm allowed to put one. To be honest I doubt they'll let me do it though (dammit)
If you look on the website it's the "quad" version. I got that one as it gave me more room to store other bits and bobs aswell as the bike. RRP is £2,085 I'll be looking for £750.
Thanks for the info!! Looking at the measurements though it doesn't look like the 959 will fit, am I looking at the wrong one?
I'll try and get a picture or 2 next time I'm at my parents house. The bike will fit in with plenty of room to store other bits and pieces. Height wise you can't stand up in it if that's what you mean it's around 4ft 7 in height
If you click on the secure a bike website and go to prices' on the top bar it gives dimensions for all versions.
