no point twatting your new bike mate , you cant learn nowt anyway this time of year, looks mint in white , you done right thing as well with exhausts not jumped in and wait to see what else comes out.
Thanks Jimmy. Yes the pipes. Aftermarket options will come, I'm sure of it. The white is a change for me. I am looking forward to getting her on the road, but as you say, I'd only be asking for it. I'm still a bit precious at the moment. Went into the garage this morning for a peep, it's quite striking in white. Photos from a phone do it no favours. I remember you mentioning you liked the white. I don't know how rear pegs will work with new pipes, but I was looking at them and the engineering in them is nice. That is my only gripe, rear pegs , that will never be used. I hope the aftermarket companies take this into consideration.
Can you do me a favour... Take a snap from the pretty side Only kidding (kind of) Enjoy your new bike I hear rave reviews
Yes, I loved the 848 and it's rawness. No toys or gadgets. Nothing to keep you up. It is a bloody exciting bike to ride. Loved it and what a way to get back into biking. I am very fortunate and I don't forget it.
if the pegs remove evo am sure someone will make a exhaust hanger , or if its a stumpy can may be fixed from the rearsets
Watched your vid. Was a good honest review. I havnt really heard it yet, but running for the few seconds I did hear, it seemed loud for stock. Yes, QS, you liked that.
Congratulations, looks awesome. I was watching the 44teeth review and thinking the Akros actually look good, but perhaps the aftermarket will bring along underslung pipes??
Tbh mate I'm thinking that a colour matched heat shield or carbon heat shield in front of the silencers where the current shiny metal would probably smarten the whole job up! The actual cans I think look perfectly fine just would have liked them to colour match the heat shield like on the 848. I know you will love the 959 though as long as u accept it as quite a different bike to the 848! The 848 was old school but effective, the panigale 'feel' short, light and scarily fast steering and much more like a supersport 600! Interesting when u also have 150 hp! Should crush the other 'middleweights' this year, and I think it's proving a few years ahead of the MV Agusta for sure.
Just back, lovely lovely thing. Took her very easy. Quick shifter is so smooth at run in revs. Lower than the 848Evo, comfortable, smooth, everything is smooth and easy. Sounds really nice. Run in can be a pain, but such a nice ride regardless. Think I will get back out to see if I can get the tyres cleaned off a bit.
