I personally don't like the SatNav mounted high up blocking the screen, it may be my OCD saying "get off my view!". I'd rather not use SatNav anyway and get lost most of the times, but once and again it helps. Other thing is not my preference is spending small fortunes in paraphernalia and accessories other than petrol, so I came up with this: a £10.00 second hand car SatNav garmin from facebook local market, covering UK and EU; a £6,00 lead and adaptor from 12V to 5V; a smear of silicone gel; two 4mm screws; a piece of rubber tube from the botton of my tool box (God knows from what rubbish it came from). Yes, the screen works very well with gloves. No, it is not water proof, but that is the silicone for, around the screen. (already put on test under torrential rain). https://drive.google.com/open?id=16YiqxHKMn0LM_lT6f3mBdsxAsfeAsJzj https://drive.google.com/open?id=16SdHyq-u1M3KpTY0-I70DXll5tyR8Ry0 https://drive.google.com/open?id=16UYR5rEgLDSTY7jzoe5r5_tE_Mf7RuUg https://drive.google.com/open?id=16W2mYfQWxHLumdKHdqa-0H53NYPiSpuC https://drive.google.com/open?id=16LRYr2OcQ-FAUWWrcPoXQv-EEtXhJoEU That will do for now.
@Rover If I were you, I'd trade-in the Multistrada for a newer Ducati. You'll save a king's ransom on petrol and you're not likely to get lost as you'll never be that far away from your point of departure. Get the RR as you will double the fun as an enduro.
I've got an Iconic parts satnav mount for sale if anyone want to save themselves 20 quid. All complete with instructions and all parts, as new condition.
Do you know if it comes with stabilisers as standard? Because if not, as a ducati accessory will cost me the bacon I need to fuel it!
