My ST4s did this last year - a momentary loss of power, every now and then and then fine. Eventually it lost all power and left me on the side of the road. I switched the 2 relays under the seat - fan and injectors, and off we went again no problem. (other than no fan!) Thing is when I tested the relays at home under load they both seemed fine, anyway I replaced them both and the problem has never returned. On a 996 I imagine they are the 2 same size black relays by the battery. If so they are Siemens now Tyco V23073 -B1005 - A302 12v.

OK ive been trying to find a replacement main relay 40A 5 pin with the 2 87 pins..
I found one but when it came its 40A with the 2 87 pins rated at 20A is this correct?

Will it work cheers for any help
